You can user Innowera tools which integrates this AWS IOT Dash button functionality with Innowera Process Runner, Easy Workflow and Innowera Web and Mobile Server (IWMS) tool. This automates process of creating and updating data in SAP system. It will be very difficult for a person who least know about SAP system to work on different kinds of transactions and master datasets. The process is prototyped and can be used for creating sales order, purchase order, download data from different master tables, different managerial activities, updating SAP records, executing different transactions, etc. which is just few clicks away.

With the help of Innowera Process Runner tool an automated script to execute different SAP transactions is developed, either to create data or download/update data using SAP system. This process runner files are published using IWMS which communicates with AWS IOT Dash button. Innowera Easy Workflow runs mailing process via AWS mail which from managerial perspective simplifies request review and authorization, as user can review data from email itself. On single click, double click and long press events of AWS IOT dash button IWMS system runs the whole scripts and data updates are done in SAP system.

The whole process runs automatically with the help of Innowera Process Runner, Innowera Easy workflow and IWMS. The multi-functionality of AWS IOT Dash button combined with simplified process of Innowera tool makes working of business process easier.

All this interesting stuff without making changes in SAP can done NOW!!!!

AWS IOT Dash Button Architecture and Design:

Here are two interesting examples:

Create Sales Order in SAP on Single Click:

Let us consider an example of 'Create Sales Order' web services from IWMS and integrate it to lambda function. Once it is integrated with Lambda function, Perform a single click (press button once) on AWS button to communicate with lambda function. Once the click event is successful, Sales Order will get created in SAP system. When data is posted successfully to SAP the user will get an intimation (customizable) mail. When recipient receives an email, user can check the “Create Sales Order” details in SAP system.

Note : We can change actions of lambda function as per our requirement and reuse it.

Initiate Workflow on Double Click to review and create Sales Order in SAP:

We always have a curiosity to understand deeply before taking decisions when we are authorized person. To ensure on our final calls review becomes the essential part. Here we have an example of ‘Create Sales Order workflow’, through which we can review the Sales Order before taking the decision of Approve/Reject. We have customized the lambda function of AWS Dash button for double click event. On double click, a mail will be triggered to custom email runner with detailed information added for creating sales order. This request we can view from an email itself reducing efforts of accessing SAP system to review this Sales order request. When recipient receives an email, workflow is initiated in Easy workflow inbox. Here, user can Approve/Reject created sales order accordingly. This whole process is highly integrated but for end user only a double click to see end result.

Note : We can change actions of lambda function as per our requirement and reuse it.
